Are the benefits of connecting with nature only occurring due to the associated physical activity? Why is visiting a forest more beneficial for us than spending time outside in our yard? How is it that students engaging with green spaces have increased working memory capacity and decreased inattentiveness? How I am I meant to fit yet another activity into an already overcrowded curriculum? Let’s delve deeper to answer these questions together.

This free session will inform educators about the emerging science linking nature connectedness with health, wellbeing, and cognitive development. We will then explore the implications for education, as well as practical implementation strategies. The session will conclude with a Q&A session to support your understandings and help facilitate action.
